We had a small Halloween party this year without children. The party was held on my birthday (Oct. 28) and I felt brave enough to request this year's gathering be for "Grown-up Ghouls only". My boys were disappointed at first, but then realized there was a school dance that same night, so we all had fun! A special thank you to my friend, Cathy, for taxiing to and from the dance that night. She was a designated driver and I was enjoying the homemade Sangria!
