Recent Events: September 25, 2012

Hi friends. How have you been? I believe it's been a while since I posted a basic "what's going on in the studio" post. I thought today would be a good time for one.

It's been non-stop busy in the studio for weeks, and I love it! Some of my work is still in the "hush-hush" stage, but I promise, when I am able to share it with you, I will!

I've had several custom designs over the past month. I completed a Bat Mitzvah suite (pictured below). I always feel blessed to be a part other's life events!

I've been working on a fun logo for Martha's Vineyard Adult Continuing Education. That one is just about ready to reveal. If you follow my blog, you know the vineyard is near and dear to my heart.

I added personalized trays to the shop. If you missed that announcement, you can read about them here.

I designed a custom "Moustache Themed" invitation last week that is crazy fun and will be added to the shop soon! Here's a peek...

And the final bit of news is really more of an "almost" event. I was approached by the people who create the gift bags for the Emmys. They wanted to include Easton Place petite cards for each of the 800 recipients! What?? That's crazy, right?! But I had to say no thank you... this year. It's tough to say no to such an exciting offer, but it was the right thing for me to do this year. I had a very short amount of time to prepare them, and I didn't want to rush such an important opportunity. I have several clients in queue, and I would have had to ask them to wait in order to fulfill the Emmy job. I just wasn't willing to do that to them. I am so honored to be asked, and I'm hoping the offer comes again... with a bit more leeway! Of course my first question to them when they approached me, "How did you find Easton Place?"... I was told their research department found my shop and they were particularly fond of the "Fun Facts about Ms. Wunder" as well as all the paper lovelies! Gotta love that!

Well, that's a bit about my goings-on... What's new in your corner of the world? Tell me in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by.

hugs,
-Patti
