Happy Passover

Tonight is the start of Passover and my day has been full of preparing, so today's post is quick. I snapped this photo this morning and thought:  "what a beautiful day I've been given". I have so much to be thankful for... a morning sky like this is certainly on the list.

Thankful...

As many of you may know from following my Twitter or Instagram feeds, my house is under construction right now. To be specific, my kitchen and children's bathroom are under construction. As shared with you from Thanksgiving pasts, our home is usually the gathering place for Thanksgiving. This year, without a kitchen, it is impossible to host thanksgiving. I'm a little sad about this, but am reminded to "Give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way." We have a new kitchen and bathroom being built and those are very big blessings to be thankful for! So we won't have a house full of family and friends this Thanksgiving. I'm still thankful that I have a house, period! And I have family and friends to be thankful for regardless of if we're together on Thanksgiving day. And I have my health to be thankful for which is possibly one of my biggest blessings. The list of blessings is long, indeed!

Thankful Words Wednesday

The Easton Place Studio has survived Sandy! There are many blessings to count after what could have been a disaster as it was for so many in Sandy's path. Other than a loss of Internet, the only other damage received here was to a lovely cherry tree in the garden when a large pine from a neighboring garden gave way in the wind.

Until Internet is restored, orders cannot be fully processed. Orders are being received and prepared for processing, but shipping of orders will be delayed by a few days at this point. I will notify all who have placed orders as soon as Internet access is restored. Thank you for your patience.

All of us at Easton Place send our thoughts and prayers to those who've been effected by the hurricane.
