My Latest Logo Client: Creative Cooking Gluten Free

lo・go
(noun)
1. a symbol or other design adopted by an organization to identify its products, uniform, vehicles, etc.

Ah yes, logo design! One of my favorite things to do is create an identity or logo for a client. Today's logo reveal is for the talented Chef Jenny Manseau and her site Creative Cooking Gluten Free.
It love how it came out. Don't you?

Brand New Brand?

What an amazing couple of weeks I've had since launching the new Easton Place! The amount of positive feedback, support and business has been almost overwhelming. Thank you to all of you who've given me support throughout the launch.

I'm writing to let you know that our Branding Shop is now open at Easton Place!  As promised at the launch of the new site, the month of May would bring the opening of Easton Place BrandingLogoWeb and Illustration.  I will continue to add branding options and "a la carte" items over the next couple of weeks, but for now you can get an idea of what is available.  If you need a custom branding package created for your specific needs, I'm happy to do that for you!  For example, you may want some of the elements in the full branding package, but not all of the elements offered.  I'll customize your branding package and price it accordingly.

As of today, June is fully booked, July has one opening, possibly two, and August has two available custom design spots.  Email me as soon as possible if you're interested in reserving any one of these spaces as they do tend to fill quickly.  I can hardly wait to share with you my latest custom designs. Two projects are custom invitation suites and one is a complete branding and website redo!  I'm loving all three of these projects and will share them with you as soon as I can.

I hope you're having a lovely week. In the comment section below, let me know if you have any suggestions for a la carte items that should be included in the new branding shop.  I'm thinking of adding the option for a custom wax stamp design. I adore the Easton Place wax seal... do you?

xoxo

Latest Web Design Client: Martha's Vineyard Wedding Studio

Wedding season is in full swing and I just had the pleasure of working with India Rose, of Martha's Vineyard Wedding Studio, designing and uploading her new website. As you may recall I gave you a sneak peek at the elements here. Today I'm thrilled to announce the site has officially launched!

Martha's Vineyard Wedding Studio is located in Vineyard Haven. It offers brides & grooms, their families or anyone planning a lovely event, a place to relax while having the finest wedding and event vendors' information at their fingertips. If you're looking for more hands-on assistance from the studio, India is happy to help with whatever is needed in planning your wedding or event. What a great business to run. I wish there had been such a place when I was planning my wedding!

It was a pleasure working with India... basically from the ground up! From the beginning we had a terrific level of communication between the two of us. When all was said and done I designed her logo, business cards (shown in the photo), website, blog, letterhead and envelopes, welcome letter and contract. Truly a special opportunity.

Please take a moment to visit Martha's Vineyard Wedding Studio online and if you're lucky enough to be on the Vineyard this summer, stop into the studio in Vineyard Haven! You can also keep up with India and this new venture on Facebook, Twitter and her Blog!

Again, I would like to thank our friend, Nelly Rodriguez of Cooking with Books for introducing me to India and for the glowing review of my design work! (xoxo) And I'd like to take this opportunity to thank India for being such a lovely client. I wish her all the best in her beautiful new business!

Photography & Cooking with Books

Holiday 2010 my wonderful husband bought me a new camera; the Nikon D3100. And since then it's as if I'm seeing in color for the first time. What a difference from the last camera I had... which wasn't a bad camera, but it wasn't even close to being in the same league as the Nikon.

My latest design project was possible largely due to the fact I have this amazing camera. Nelly Rodriguez, of Cooking with Books, was in need of a more personal blog banner and I was thrilled to be able to design one for her. Nelly is a baker by trade, studying baking and pastry making at the Culinary Institute of America. So it was no surprise when she said she wanted dough in the photo of her banner. She had also asked for a specific font she'd seen on another design of mine. Nelly decided to go with a crisp white sidebar which looks like freshly pressed baking whites. A perfect touch! And the end result is the following...

Stop by Nelly's blog. She has so much to share from recipes and utensil spotlights, to travel tips and reviews. I learn something every time I read one of her post!

I look forward to sharing my design clients with you on my Design Portfolio page. Up next is a complete blog redo! So excited to share it with you. Stay tuned!

Latest Logo Design Client - Tamara Tovey Photography

I've been offering Logo Design and Custom Work in my shop for the past year. The designs range from Etsy and Blogger banners to watermarks, Branding Designs to Business Holiday Cards. As with all of my custom designs, once I create something uniquely yours, you own it! You can use the design on any number of items from my shop like notecards, stickers and invitations. Or you can use it on your website, blog, twitter account and facebook! And should you need to use the design through a third party like Moo.com, I'll be happy to set up a layout that you can submit for printing.

I thought I'd give you a peek at the design process with the help of my latest design client, Tamara Tovey Photography. Tamara was a terrific client in every step of the process starting with the questionnaire I asked her to fill out,  to the finished product.

New at Easton Place Designs: Custom Web Design

It's been over a month since my last post.  As you may have guessed, much has been happening at Easton Place Designs.  I'm thrilled to share with you the latest creations and ventures!  First up are the newest services offered at EPD... Web Design!  Actually, in all honesty, I should say I now offer web design elements.  This includes logo design, blog banners, blog buttons, ad buttons, etsy banners, blog backgrounds etc.  I started this side of design several months ago when I created a blog and etsy banner for my friend, Kelly Jo Guastello at Purple Vine Design.  From there I created my own etsy banner, twitter background, facebook button and all the design pieces on my e-commerce site, Easton Place Designs.  Most recently my lovely (and quite funny) friend, Kathryn Doran of "The Coastal Chic", asked me to design elements for her newest blog venture, "The Saucy Bits".  I had so much fun with Kathryn and her fellow "Saucy Broads"!  Go check her out... on both of her blogs!

The next item of business I'd like to share with you is my line of holiday cards.  I'd love to say I have photos of everything as well as have them available for purchase on my sites, but that's a few days away.  Until then, have a peek at one of the newest designs...

Coming soon!

Holiday cards will be offered as single cards and boxed sets.  Photocards will be offered in sets of 25.  Launch date is set for Monday, November 1, 2010!
