Friday Freebie: Be Creative Wallpaper

It's FRIDAY! Yes. It. Is.

I've got a sweet little freebie for you today: a downloadable wallpaper for your computer (and iPhone 5). One of the things I love about weekends is the time I get to spend with my husband, kids and Aggie-doodle. I also love being able to create something just for fun. This inspired me to give my readers something to spark creativity in their day! So, here you go... free downloadable wallpaper for your screen. I've sized it to fit a few different sizes in the hopes that most anyone will find a size right for their screen. I also included an iPhone 5 size for fun.

Select the size you need below.

If you'd rather print it for framing, just click here!

Wishing you all a VERY creative weekend!
Cheers,
-Patti

Free Printable Friday: Downton Abbey Edition

It's hard to believe there are still months to wait for the next season of Downton Abbey. I'm fairly certain that I will need a DA rerun Marathon very soon. I love reading the various quotes plucked from the series. Of course, Pinterest is a great source for them. I've picked a few of my favorites and worked them into free printables for you! Maybe you see one that will give you a smile or just encourages you to "do as the Dutchess would do"? Either way, please enjoy them!

This is day 11 of blogging every day this month (NaBloPoMo) and I'm keeping up. Well, yesterday and today's posts were uploaded a tad bit late, but still on the proper date! I do believe I'm typing with a British accent! Well then...

Slow Down Sunday: Free Printable

I've been trying to keep my Sundays free from work. So far, I'm doing pretty good with that goal. Today included a family breakfast, a couple hours of tennis with my younger son and a lovely salad for lunch.
Basically I've been trying to slow it down on Sundays. It's good to take a day to recharge, replenish and relax. As a reminder, I've designed this free printable. Maybe you could use it as a reminder on any day of the week. It's easy to get so wrapped up in routine and the buzz of the daily to-do list, that we forget to slow down and breathe...

I hope you've had a lovely weekend.

Easy DIY Last Minute Gifts

Ok, let's get real. Christmas is in a few days. You still have a couple of "little things" you need to pick up for gifts, right? Don't panic. I've got you covered! How about some really easy DIY framed prints? You might even have some frames, in storage, perfect for these free printables. It's okay, I won't tell if you "regift" a frame.

The first one was from a Valentine post I did back in February. I think it's a sweet framed print for all year. Especially lovely for a little girl's room or nursery! I've shown it here, set into frames sold by the  Once Upon a Time Finds | Etsy. (please visit their shop for sweet vintage finds!)

The second printable artwork I created for Best Friends For Frosting! If you've not checked out their site, please do! This printable art would be super fun for a bestie or a diva in high school or even college! Heck… give it to all your diva girlfriends!

The third and final free printable is a recipe card for Easton Place Granola! How fun to make a batch of homemade granola, package it in a glass jar and include these recipe cards. Easy and delicious.

I hope these free printables help you with your last minute gift giving! Wishing you a sweet holiday season filled with love, laughter and yummy goodness.

Free Little Love Notes

As February comes to an end, I thought another free printable would be fun for my readers. You may remember the free "ABC I Love You" printable posted earlier this month. Feel free to get your copy if you didn't already.

This week I've created a set of Love Notes that you can share with your little someone special and even your big someone special! Slip a note in a lunchbox, place one on the bathroom mirror or maybe even leave one on the dashboard of your sweetie's car. Perhaps you'll even want to mail one or two for fun.

Click on the photo below for the printable image. Print on a regular 8.5" x 11" sheet of unlined paper and cut along the dotted lines. Enjoy!

(this printable is not for resale or mass production. for personal use only.)

Celebrations and Free Printable!

The week of July 4th is a fun time for most in the U.S. For me it marks the anniversary of the date my online shop opened! This year, the week of July 4th will mark two years that I've had an online shop selling "Fine Paper Lovelies" and assorted gifts! In honor of this fun time of year, I've put together two pages of flag-style cupcake toppers featuring red, white and blue stars and stripes. You can either use these little flags on toothpicks or you can turn them sideways and hang them on some twine to create a festive cake bunting! Click on the images below the photos to be taken to your free page of printables.

Here's to celebrating independence and having a little cake: a great combination.

Happy Valentine's Day... with a printable

Hello, and Happy Valentine's Day friends! I've been celebrating Valentine's Day (so to speak) for the last two months. It started for me with new designs for the special occasion. This year I launched 4 new greeting cards in my etsy and my dot com shop. I also created a couple of color palettes here on my blog and I organized a Valentine Card Swap with several people via twitter & facebook. Today I'm capping off this "holiday of love" with a free printable for the kids (or kid at heart).

Do you remember making paper fortune tellers when you were a kid? I have distinct memories of sitting on the school bus with friends, making and playing with those little paper goodies. Well today I've created one with a Valentine theme. And in case you've either forgotten how to fold one, or never knew how to fold one, I've included step by step instructions. To download your own copy, simply click here. Print on 8.5" x 11" printer paper with settings on borderless.

I wish to thank all of those who participated in my Valentine Card Swap! I hope you had fun giving and receiving your Valentine Goodies. I'll be posting a Valentine's Day follow up Wednesday!
Hugs & Kisses,
Patti

HGTV Feature

As promised in my June Newsletter, I am now able to share all the details surrounding my first Online Publication with none other than HGTV! Even though I wrote about it in the July newsletter, I thought I'd share the details here as well as all the photos I submitted.

In May I was contacted by HGTV by way of my Etsy shop. HGTV was looking for 2-3 fill-in invitations, as well as PDFs and beauty shot, to be part of a party planning segment. Here are the results...

To see all 16 designs submitted by myself and other talented designers, and to download your own copies of these invitations, just click here to go to the article on hgtv.com.
